Erik's getting his arse kicked here. Serves him right for nicking my word, ask next time is all im saying.
Erm, excuse me but that doesn't seem to be a picture or image of any sort. Please fix this problem ASAP. Thanks, the whole thread. FAIL
The bloke died and was brought back to life - which is great. His life has since been hijacked by the media and he's getting an extended run before he becomes chip paper. No need to keep trotting him out at football grounds. If he can use his experience and faith to do some good for others that's a good thing. We seem to be living in a ****ed up society of lauding the ordinary and making the mediocre appear exceptional. We also seem to have to have a minutes applause and silences for just about anything these days. There are state occasions and days for the year set aside for these things it doesn't have to be 'the football community's' responsibility to bring awareness of social issues and the unfairness of life and nature. Call me hard hearted, but was there any need for us to have a minutes silence for Egyptian fans that time? Probably not other than we have Egyptian owners. ****fest was a bit OTT from Erik, but I see where he's coming from. Football grounds for football, cenotaphs and churches (if that's your bag) for rememberance and giving thanks.
I agree with all this FLG but have you seen the tits on that Helen Flanagan, cant wait for Celebrity..........
Thank you for bringing some sanity to a thread that has otherwise started to resemble a cyber-version of a Mad Max film
I'm broadly in agreement with this and might add that Victoria Pendleton would get it all night long for as long as she wants.
Guffaw! Oh, my sides are aching! A lot of thought and effort goes into my posts. I like to share my amazing mind with those less fortunate than me
In respect for our owners Country who had suffered a footballing disaster. They saved our Club for otherwise definite liquidation, the least we could do is show some respect for their people back home.
This is exactly what he's talking about FFS. I was actually embarrassed at being asked to share in the grief of people I didn't have any connection with.
Personally, I think it's disgraceful that we haven't yet held a minute's silence in recognition of the untimely death of the guinea pig that Philip Schofield ate. I trust this will be remedied a our next home game.
