''Nines stop talking rubbish. Ever since you've been posting Clive's articles and I've been slagging them off, you've often laughed (inserted laughing faces) at my posts, "liked" them, '' Yes you are correct. I have done this in the past, but certainly not recently. As I've said above, our board does try to take some things in a light hearted manner. It tries to be a bit different to the others. Unfortunately Clive's posts have played some part in this. Being part of this forum is knowing the modus operandi of our posters and realising who adopts which angle on what. This goes for most topics but with Clive's ... The parody goes something like this ... I or someone else will post the LFW Match Report. Someone will respond with cue Swords and you usually oblige, everyone has a chuckle and we have a few posters who rightly rebuke this in the comments below. Perhaps naively, I was doing it on the understanding that there was a quiet acceptance and respect to what Clive had written, regardless of whether you, me or anyone else took the time to comment on it. The LFW's /Clive's post became an integral part of the board regardless of the comments. ''once replied that you met him & you agreed that he "went on a bit", said that I was giving good coverage to this Site because he kept mentioning us on the Podcast and a whole host of other lighthearted comments towards my weekly responses.'' If you can bring up the appropriate posts where I said this, I shall personally apologise to you and Clive and buy you both a drink. As far as I'm aware my only comment about meeting Clive personally is that he's a really nice person, and if you ever had the chance to sit down with him and have a pint and have a chat about the Rangers you would realise this. If I'm wrong, I will hold my hands up and say sorry. As for the comments made on the podcast, I was embarrassed for our site to be mentioned in such a bad light. I thought I'd mentioned this on open forum. Again I apologise if I'm wrong. It may of been said between Beth Tramore and I. As ever I stand to be corrected. I will gladly hold my hands up if I'm wrong. ''You're a bit of a lad Nines with cheeky sense of humour and contrary to what people might think on here, are well up for a bit of a wind up. Its low level so folk don't notice it but I do and I've no doubt you've a glint in your eye in real life.'' That's you're personal perception of me Swords and you're entitled to it. As ever in real life we have different persona's depending on which situation we are in. What you have stated above is probably true when I'm in familiar company such as work and the like. ( And on holiday to when know one know's me ) But generally I would say I'm likeable but a bit boring until you get to know me. ( Yeah that's bollocks you have me spot on. ) Anyway, for the sake of all our sanities and for blessed brevity of this thread and board ... do you read or indeed enjoy Clive's articles or not? An essay reply is not an option until after your initial post.
You was right all along, and I was wrong danish. The defence rests it's case. What else can I say? * Hands Up*
Just re read this again BBH...and see if you can understand your logical thought here, I can't. No ...No apology from me...So you knew it was Clive....and welcomed him with the ever lovely Boring fuc@@@ I am bored with this now...as I am sure all other posters are... You two are obviously much happier sending PMs to 999s complaining about me rather than either talk to me ...or apologise to Northernr direct. Both of you are a "credit" to our board...and Swords before you try and work that one out it is called sarcasm, it is the lowest form of wit.
All QPR fans who used the internet are aware of LFW, so why do we copy the links on this site and comments and invite potential abuse? I propose we (as Not 606 QPR) stop posting LFW report links on this site until we "grow-up". This will not stop me personally form reading the analyses and reports that I personally value on “that” site as I know where to find them QPRski the only QPR forum I go on is this one if there is interesting qpr related stories out there then I am grateful it gets posted on here keep em coming
When will everyone get it? Nearly always, when there's this kind of rumpus, there is one common denominator and he's not even a genuine Ranger (Stainsey sussed him out yonks ago).
Betty if you're referring to me I'm sure Nines will confirm that I've never even mentioned you in a PM to him let alone complain about you!
Kiwi - I do not not want to get dragged into this quagmire of a thread as I get no pleasure reading it. My message was we need to "grow up". I also do hope that Nines continues to copy Clives' reports but hope that they are commented on in a constructive manner, as they often raise very interesting points. However if you, like me, enjoy Clives Whittinghams' (nick: Northernr) match reports then please take a "glance" at LFW as this gentleman also writes other material that is not copied on this site (pre-match oppostion focuses, opposing fan interviews, etc). This is not a plug, just a comment which I hope may provide you with added value. I don't think that are many football forums/blogs that provide such high quality and thought provoking insights and reports. p.s. I do not know Clive, although I have said "hello" to him a couple times in the C&S. However, I have thanked him personally for his hard work over the many years and hope that he may long continue to write. I really do not know where he gets the time or the motivation.
