    Haha

What's happening with MS3? They sponsored Craven Park last year and were promising internet improvements.

There's plenty of Hull based companies who promise to deliver awesome broadband to a wireless receiver on your roof but the fact is it's **** so they all fail. Most people live close to either trees or other buildings so it doesn't work.

In 2007 it shortened its name from Kingston Communications to KCOM group. Has that change brought in lots of overseas investment or is there a quasi-monopoly on its revenue being generated in Hull and the East Riding?

Funding for MS3 appears to have dried up.

KC have hit key business areas and previous 'not-spots' first in the Lightstream roll out.

Gradually it will appear everywhere but it is quite literally the physical job of digging and entire new network over the whole area.

    Time consuming and expensive.

Satalite internet is poor at best

And receiving a tv signal is completely different to receiving an internet connection

Surely the funding for the stadium came from Hull City Council and the company is the sponsor?

Hull City Council got the money for the stadium by selling it's shares in KC.

I appreciate that but BB's comment could be construed as the company directly funded the stadium. It would be interesting to know if the monies from the share sale weren't so restricted by local authority financial regulations as to how the money could be used whether the Council would have chosen other projects eg affordable housing, to spend the money on rather than the stadium.
