City are unbeaten against teams starting with 'S' and those who play in blue and white hoops...so far! That means a minimum of three points to come, hopefully nine!

Come on Carrabuh, give the newbie a chance before cutting him down! (Canarian you'll get used to it, it's nothing personal from Carrabuh). But I kind of agree, it's not a particularly useful stat. As far as I can remember, we're also unbeaten in the league against teams beginning with A,E and R.

and Z, even Ipswich are unbeaten against teams beginning with Z.

Although there are quite a few zzzzzzzzzzz's at Carrow Road leading up to the final whistle.
 
I get it at work, no worries guys! Just thought there were more 'S' teams than others and football has lots of superstitions. Was a rubbish post anyway and fallen flat at the first hurdle, big deal, ha ha.
 
sounds like u need to give up your seat to one of the 4k on the waiting list carrabuh, get one at 1p5wich for a year and get some perspective

Match Report: Ipswich 0 -4 Anyteam FC

OMGWTF WE HAVE A FAN!!!!!! We're not sure if he's wandered in to shelter from the cold, or whether he's actually died in his seat, but we can definitely confirm that there was at least a body in the stands! The team were dreadful and thoroughly deserved to lose, but you knew that already. More updates on this exciting development coming your way soon!

Update: After the game, we spoke to Mick McCarthy:

"So Mick, pretty much the result we all expected. Have you anything to say about the reports a fan may have been at the game today?"

"Well we played with plenty o' industry, but t'better team won in t'end. There were someone in the stands for sure. The players came in at 'alf-time moanin' that some geezer was yelling at 'em to keep t'ball on t'deck, that they was too tall, and needed t'look more spanish. It put 'em right orff."
