Biggest pick up of the festival - £220 from a £1 ante post win double Teaforthree 16s and Simonsig 12s. Other ante post action as a treble Cinders 12s, Sprinter Sacre 5/2 and Quevega 6/4. Backing Sir Des Champs (or Sir Des Lynam as my mates called him) from 12s downwards. My ante-post was awesome this year, best ever. Biggest loser of the festival - Between The Fly and Grands Crus although Gold Cup day in general was awful with Boston Bob and Long Run big losers for me. Inspired punting moment - ante-post, it's a game of luck and thi syear my luck was in. I also piled into Bucks when he hit 5/6, a HUGE price !! Bonehead punting moment - Lumping on Long Run when I didn't really fancy him, mind you I didn't fancy anything in the Gold Cup, should have kept my money in my pocket and had a Guinness. Favourite moment of festival - When the front 3 jumped the last in the RyanAir. Loved Big Bucks win and the roar when the tapes goes up for the Supreme is always a fav of mine. Oh yeah, my first pint there on the Tuesday, I was gagging !! The 'I'm the unluckiest punter in the world' moment - Thought Sizing Europe was a shoe in when they turned for home, lost a few quid on him. Best ride of festival - Jason Maguire on Cinders and Flicka. Barry Geraghty also had an awesome week. Worst ride of festival - no idea.
