Apparently he phoned the FA and that's what they told him - And the number he called was 0844 980 8200
Well Lads, I dont know what to make of these latest developments (or lack of them). I know one thing for sure, LUFC is a better place without Capt. Birdseye at the helm. Nothing could ever be that bad again. Not sure WTF is going on with this takeover & whether there will ever be substantial funds to strengthen the squad, lots of good players (who we are allegedly interested in) getting snapped up by our rivals. Extremely flattered to be called a Gentleman - Cheers Shako, you are a fine fella yourself. Good to see you back on the forum after causing a nationwide search earlier this week!!
I think we are one more big defeat from the mood completely turning against someone. The manager is usually the first to get flak. Despite Haighs PR I would like to think most Leeds supporters will see it's the lack of funds/broken promises/over hype that are the problems. While Haigh was promising the earth and delivering nothing McDermott was saying let's not carried away. He knew we were ****e, obviously he cannot just come out and say it but that was what he meant. The way things are I will breathe a sigh of relief when we get to 55 points. I really thought we had got past looking over our shoulder but I was wrong.
I suppose Gh, there are huge numbers of fans that don't bother with ownership issues, football forums twitter etc. they don't care what goes on behind the scenes sadly and can't see a connection with the **** players on the field. Maybe they're better off not knowing or suspecting what's going on. I've a feeling Haigh will get a wake up call when attendances begin to drop. That process will likely begin this weekend and could continue depending on results
JONTY-Complaining about us not reducing the prices against Brighton on a tuesday night, untill LIW says (you do know its away)This is who TC get's his information from.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, taking over a majority share os a company does take a bit of time you know. Especially when the people selling are keeping a decent sized chunk themselves. They want to make sure who they're selling to is going to make Leeds a decent buisiness for them to keep their shareholding in. You don't just fkin say, £10m, no £10.5m, ok lets shake on £10.25m. Strangley enough there's a little more to it than that. If the club don't say anything people whinge. If the club do say something its all bull. They can't win. We signed 2 wingers last week, 2 decent wingers. (Its not anyone other than McD's fault that he decided to play both of them a day or 2 later. Stupid decision in my opinion) We do now need another striker, but hopefully we'll get someone better than Barnes. Yes, we're all fked off about last Saturday and the previous 4 or 5 games, but how is that the owners fault? They don't pick the team. Do you think the likes of Andrew Flowers doesn't want to get this moving as quickly as possible? Of course he does. So, lets all just chill out and see what happens over the next couple of weeks.
Wrong again TC,You need a new Saurce m8 try HP.A loan fee will have been paid for Stewart of around the same amount as was agreed for the sale until the FL stopped it,and Kebe will be on prem league money. How about your lot bringing back Hulse ? or making do with your pound shop early season failures.
