What I recall of that gig was that Liam sounded as good as he had for ages, the kasabian set was disturbed because of a small fire and the Enemy were immense (I loved them with their debut album).

love most of their back catalogue but I think Making a fire on their new album is a superb track. As a muso, I Love any track which encompasses different time signatures well. Starts in a 3/4 timing and moves to 4/4 and back. Absolutely sublime! IMO of course

Don't get the dislike for sheeran like, everyone has favourite musicians and I'm sure thousands around the North East will like him. Let's not forget this is big for the stadium and these big shows are not just for people's personal preferences.
BTW I'm no fan of his either, now if it had been the jam, madness or elo then I would be quite happy

To be honest I think he's harmless. He doesnt irritate me like the majority of the radio friendly ****e that gets constantly shoved down my throat when the wife has control of the car music. (Although a special mention must go to Galway Girl, ****ing horrendous!) And I suppose he must have some talent, what with looking the way he does n'all.

Not my cup of tea but clearly a very popular lad who will no doubt sell out both nights.
For me, they can put this sort of thing on every weekend once the season is finished. It's great for the City

I like Ed Sheeran. Lol. To be honest though he’s more an artist I listen to in the car. I can’t imagine him being very exciting in concert. Saw Santana two nights ago. Still amazing.
