I reckon we should splash the cash and bring Curo back for his third stint and pair him up front with that other spring chicken currently banging them in for fun, Adebayo Akinfenwa <ok>

To be fair he has banged them in in the championship as well, albeit not for us sadly. Never understand why it never quite worked out for him here, bet he doesn't either as his potential ability and effort were never in question.

Probabaly because the team behind him were total dross.

He was appalling for Norwich. Couldn't score an open goal from 2 yards out - literally. I thought he was lazy as well. He was given many chances by different managers at Norwich and messed up each time.

no he was not appalling at all. isn't it amazing how some people exaggerate things and seem to forget! cureton was our top scorer in his first season back with the club and although things turned sour for him and he was dropped the following season, he still always gave 100% to the canary cause when called upon. his effort may have overweighed his ability but that is not something to criticise over. it would be if it were the other way around. the simple fact is that he was never quite good enough for us, though he was not helped that he was playing in probably the weakest city team of the last 50 years. appalling? no chance. out of his depth? probably fair <ok>

I'll always fondly remember seeing him for scoring the winner against Barnsley on Feb 23rd 2008 - it was the day before my father passed away and telling him about Curo's goal were the last words I spoke to him before he slipped into unconciousness. He never woke up.

I agree with you 100% especially about missing open goals.

Do you all remember David Carney? I've seen some poor Norwich players but he takes the winners medal in that department. He even played in the World cup for Australia.
