Dunno about that - I think there'd be the same level of outrage for any player at an English club given his history. Joey Barton got plenty of grief and outrage when playing for City and QPR because he was always getting banned so I don't think the size of the club has that much to do with it. Suarez probably gets a bit more grief than most due to his talent, but it's his track record and subsequent media profile that gets him all the attention.

Bit of a dilemma here, since because he pays for the YSB's it couldn't be any better thats its Suarez. But, putting personal hatred aside, this moron has now bitten 3 players, and this last attempt was during the world cup. And to make matters worse he then dives in attempt to get the defender punished. Yet again has failed to learn from any mistakes. What sort of lesson does it send out to youngsters who see him as some sort of hero, if FIFA dont come down heavy as a final warning. It should be a 12 month ban from ALL football, with the same terms as Cantona got i.e., NO FOOTBALL AT ALL. And a final warning that if he ever bites again, its a world wide ban from ANY professional football

Barton. Don't remember anyone calling for him to be banned for life, BBC Bobbie Savage said just that about Suarez and international football. I wouldn't argue with Suarez being banned for 6 months from international football, even a year, any more than that is ridiculous, no way should there be a domestic ban. On the last one the FA said they cannot consider his offence in Holland yet they increased his ban because of that incident, slight contradiction there ****ing idiot is the term that comes to mind when I think of Suarez, he's got to be in for the award of thickest ****ing eejit to grace the turf
