James Maddison has been named the EFL Young Player-of-the-Month for his stunning start to 2018.

He scored 3 goals to help City earn 9 out of 12 points, being on target against Millwall, Bristol City & Brentford. His goal against Brentford also won the championship goal of the month.

Very commendable, good news for him, which means bad news for the club, as the more of those he gets, the more certain it is, that he won´t be here next season, when we´re likely to need him even more badly, than we have this. A classic vicious circle case, but thanks, Alex Neil, for bringing him here in the first place, we certainly won´t lose on the deal, and we´ve had a chance to see him progress, this season, at least.
