because its so unfair, and you can only fool some of the people some of the time. The EU jolly boys outing is a ****ing joke, there's so much money swilling around amongst the eurocrats ( and I include Kinnock and his missus) that its about time somebody, no everybody started looking at the sums, and what the contributors actually get for their money. Cos its the biggest racket going, far bigger than any organised crime operation, yet its classed as legal, necessary and vitally important, when it's actually none of these, its a colossal scam which is making a select number of people stinking rich, for doing nowt. I hope the cracks that are appearing become huge fractures, and this brings the walls tumbling down. Sooner the better.

  3. The Hundred Years war against the arrogant ****ers is a misnomer… it’s actually 1000 years war…. and will be for the next 1000 years aswell. They hate us, we hate them, even the events of 80 years ago never changed that…it’ll always be the same. Macron is a weasel… he knows if he starts a conflict with us it’ll pick him up extra votes.

    Not at all.

Very sensibly he wants to protect his citizens against any possible infection of the latest virus mutation, by foreigners entering his Country.

    Laudible, I'd call it.

And while he's at it, we could ask if he would reciprocate by stopping people from France coming here.
He can start with those venturing over The North Sea in open boats.

French police look on as migrants leave coast on inflatable dinghy - new pics
FRENCH police have been seen looking on as a group of migrants on an inflatable dinghy leave the coast of Northern France to cross the English Channel.

New pictures show the French border police watching as the migrants set off from the coast in Wimereux near Calais earlier today. There have been simmering tensions between France and Britain over the migrant crisis, particularly with regard to policing.

to be fair, all it says is that 'police have been seen' nothing to show them actually stood watching...but, the rest of the article is all about the french saying only we (england) can stop it which is absolute bollox, plus the fact the french have basically said they will not work with us.

i honestly pray that the EU falls apart at the seams and the french end up bankrupt and have to come cap in hand to the rest of europe and we are the only one who can help them but for a change whoever our PM is at the time stands firm and makes them dance to our tune.

there is a pic of them looking on as the migrants leave, and some knob head NGO saying we are treating them badly as all the hotels are packed now and that they are escaping war and hunger ..not from a safe country France they are not

WIMEREUX, France, Dec 16 (Reuters) - In the early hours of Thursday on a beach in northern France, a small group of police with torches tries to stand in the way of dozens of migrants heading for the sea carrying a grey dinghy.

It's tense. The police are outnumbered. The migrants - who hope to make it to Britain on the final stretch of their long journeys fleeing war and poverty - are screaming.

During the standoff, some of the migrants shout: "Help us, we want go to UK, please!" Some are standing in front of the police to try to block their way and allow others to carry the boat into the water.

They eventually push past the police, who stand aside.

"Thank you, thank you," says one woman, blowing kisses in the direction of the police. One young man says, on his way to the dinghy: "I have a dream, go UK, I have a dream, I have a wish."

The migrants, including children, some crying, jump onto the dinghy. One child was covered from her feet to her neck in a black garbage bag in an apparent effort to protect her from the water. She wore a bright pink coat and grey woollen hat to keep her warm.

oh aye, not saying they don't do it but that article does not actually show anything but police standing on a beach somewhere.

funny though, i have rarely seen boats being brought in with lots of children on board yet the one reported tragedy just happened to have children on...it's time they were all shown that the UK (and most of europe for that matter) is not paved with gold and riches, we have enough struggling to get by on a daily basis...and i never realised there was so much war across the world, crazy what you learn, eh?

At the last home game, one of my near 'neighbours' was hoping to be heading off to France skiing.. I wonder if he got there before Macron's election crowd pleasing ban.

Also if he didn't, will he get a refund.

Also will crowds at football matches be banned before the next home game, so I will not be able to find out!

Omicron, even sounds a little like Macron..
