    Not a cliche but the funniest quote from a commentator was quite a few years back when Darren Ambrose was with us, it had very recently been reported in the papers he was gay and had been sexing it up with Will young. Ambrose came on with about 20 minutes to go and swung in a brilliant cross! to which the commentator came out with "Oooooo what a BENDER" made me spit out my pint when I heard it!!
