I'd prefer him to Van Gaal, in terms of winning things, but I prefer Van Gaal in terms of giving youth a chance.

I think the Glazers will want somebody to drive the brand, Mourinho fits that bill for sure.

We've all been impressed by young Rashford, the lad looks like he has a cracking future.

Rashford come out of nowhere mate, he wasn't even hyped before this season, he was gonna be well down the pecking order. We'd have had Wilson, Fletcher and Keane all in front of him but he got his shot and he took it and never looked back, he's a first teamer now and might save us a lot of money this summer.

Add Martial in there, who's just incredible, Fosu-Mensah, Borthwick-Jackson (he needs a fair bit of work still), Januzaj and Depay and we have some young talent, all with incredible potential if they get the right coaching... so you can see why Mourinho isn't filling everybody with optimism, we don't want somebody to come in and spend £200m on Di Maria's and Zlatan Ibrahimovic's, as good as they are to watch on tele.

Aye, can understand that Tel. Man Utd have always given youth a chance, and like you say Mourinho might not be too keen on that.

Your goalie is a bit special as well, he's had a cracking season.

I honestly think Van Gaal is on the brink of nailing it at Man U. Everywhere he goes, he does this, starts slow and then it all clicks (usually after he leaves to be fair). One thing for sure is his work will stand them in good stead for the next 5 years whether he stays or goes. His knack with young players and getting big clubs set up right is not in question for me. He should have done better of course.

The other thing is he is the most likeable bloke and manager in the premiership. He is a blast form the past. A proper character who is a great laugh. I mean every presser is like an episode of your favourite comedy show. The chucking himself on the floor and the comment about sex masochism when discussing the Huth/Feillani incident stand out. I also liked it when he slapped the journalist for asking about Ashley Cole. And the chant of his own song outside the ground. Top man.

A lot of us actually really like the guy, nobody seems to hate him but I think the main reason people want him out is because he doesn't seem to have any fire on the touch line like he did at previous clubs and even at the World Cup just before he joined us. It all seems a bit too laid back and we are a hurried bunch!

    He's had to be!

Goalies are hard to judge I'd say. The true mark of a keeper for me isn't their ability to make great saves or their distribution but how they are when they've had nothing to do for an hour then suddenly out of the blue a shot flies in from 30 yards heading for the top corner. Takes real concentration and quality to not mess up like that and there's plenty of great keepers who get caught out.

As for most likeable manager.. surely Ranieri? I didn't think there was any debate on that. Nothing to do with ability or success this season, he just always comes across as a legend.
