A.V.B is clearly showing signs that Anelka is not in his plans,by having him as 4th choice striker which is disrespectful to Anelka who still has so much 2 give in the PL,so why not go in 4 him if we're looking 2 get rid of pav in January,he would fit in straight away and would make a huge impact, they tried 2 unsettle modric,so why not give them a taste of there own medicine.Anelka still has pace holds the ball well and has good vision,at the little pond Bolton he proved he could play well with no stars round him, then he stepped in2 the deep blue Chelsea and proved hes up there with the top strikers in the PL,so I say if it's time 4 pav 2 go then it's time 4 for Anelka 2 flow at W.H.L ;)

I think he would be a good singing. Anelka is still a class player and is proven in the prem and he does not have to play every game.

Anelka's a good player but IF we got Ade on a permanent deal, Anelka would be just be another squad player, if he was to leave Chelsea there's no way he'd join us to take up a similar role.

I've always liked watching Anelka, he's got a great alround game. My problem with him signing for us is that he doesn't tend to give a ****, look at how he takes his penalties, one step and then chip it down the middle or whatever. I don't think I'd enjoy watching him so much if he was playing for us. My last concern is that he does still start for Chelsea but I haven't seen him play the lone role upfront for awhile. That said, If Chelsea were trying to get rid then I'd happily take him at Spurs.

yes but with pav looking 2 leave probably in january we need another squad player and i think Anelka fits the bill, its not worth bringing some1 who needs time 2 settle and adapt 2 the PL plus the wheather etc.....

Schteff - welcome withdrawn? <laugh>. Cretin (him, not you!)

The rumour is that he'll go to PSG to finish his career.

I think he's a class act personally and am a bit gutted to see him go, but he is happy not to sign a new contract and move on.

What makes you think he is an Arsenal fan ? Why can't he be a Spurs fan who is pretending to be a Gooner ?

I'm just saying you have a few players that were rejected by the teams they were in, adebayor and van der vaart to name a couple. And now you want another one.
