Does this annoy anyone else? Not only is he rabidly biased in his opinion, he is also one of the most illiterate mongs in the whole of sports commentary. Him and Crocker together make the Jeremy Kyle show look like the Houses of Parliament.

There is something seriously wrong with a staunch sellic supporter who was ****e at football commentating on Rangers games. If things are to be evened out then sellic would have Bob Malcolm covering their games.

As an aside, ESPN far outstrips Sky for coverage of the SPL and EPL.

The odd obvious jibe is fair enough, nothing wrong with being obvious about who you support but Walker is unbearable in how biased he is. The Caley Thistle game was comedy.

Contrast that to Craig Burley who is sound and seems to tell it like he sees it no matter what team is playing. Although he does enjoy slagging off players in general to be fair.

Maybe its got something to do with how good a player they were. McCann, Burley, Neville = all excellent players. Walker, Nevin, Windass = All utter ****e. Spiers, McNee, Young, Chiles = Never played the game and dont have a single clue.

I can't stand listening to Burley. He comes across as being a biased wee prick, but not to the same extent as Walker.

During one of the games the fans started chanting "Andy Walker yer a ****er, yer a ****er"

I think he's gutted at being retired from the game while having to watch the likes of Ross Tokely, Stephen McManus and Zander Diamond trample through the game.

His bitterness at that is clear but I think his commentary is alright. He hates Lafferty & Diouf but its never affected his job as a commentator.

Walker will happily claim every Rangers goal should be chopped off and any blatant dive by our opposition should be a penalty - all delivered with a clueless, glaikit look on his face.

His eyes are far too close together as well.

I watch Neil McCann doing the studio stuff and if you never knew, you would struggle to to tell what team he played for and loved.

He is articulate and unbiased and his comments are always fair and well thought out.

Tell me your having a laugh? For a start, since when does supporting either celtic or rangers automatically make you a bigot? Give it a rest Girvan...

And as for McCann, he's as biased as any ex celtic or rangers player is in their commentary. And I personally don't have a problem with him being like that. If he's a rangers supporter, the same as the likes of Hateley, Butcher etc or Walker, Burley for celtic, do you honestly expect any different from them? I don't.

And as for Frank's original point, I have to agree with you. To me it would make much more sense to book ex-players to comment on the team they played for, as neither side really wants to have to listen to someone biased for the other side of the OF do they? The only time they should be able to do that, is if for example they brought on both Hateley and Hartson say for an OF match?
