    Yes serious mate,

He came to leeds we offered him around 8k per week,
He then drove to Cardiff and said "Leeds are offering me 8k you give me 12k
He drove back to Leeds and said Cardiff are offering me 12k a week you match it and ill sign!!!!
Once he signed he came out and said how he was a big leeds fan and this was a dream job.

    Hes a money grabbing ****

Well that mirror article says he's a replacement for fonts whos going to southampton which last time they tried to sign him he was injured and failed a medical and he's out injured again to at least Feb so can't see him leaving but if DM has made him captain there has been no word about contract talks with fonts or Elliott

I still think something's gone on in the background that we have yet to learn about. AOB at his best is a reasonable defender. Part of his problem, particularly in the opening game, was that he wasn't fit. SG has already admitted he got that wrong. When he played against Leicester a few weeks ago, he showed what he could really do. Much more committed & a much better player.

Since then, something's happened, which has led him to refuse to play. It must be serious because the club have been unusually quiet on the subject of late with talk of lawyer involvement. Anyway, good luck to him I say.... even if he has let us down in some respects.

Boggers apparently his wife to be ditched him at the alter since then he has been depressed he asked Grayson to be excused from the Leicester game but was persuaded to play and then the week after He asked Grayson to be excused because his head wasn't right,

Grayson then came out and said he refused to play (which wasnt entirely true he wanted sick leave) this caused a big fall out and some players have stuck by Obrien and some have stuck by Grayson!

This is supposedly why some players arent putting any effort in because they are annoyed at the way OB was treated

This was just a rumour posted on some fansite. If the players weren't putting effort in because of that they don't deserve to wear the shirt. And anyway, the celebrations on Monday weren't those of players who didn't care.

Cheers YNBtZ... sorry YNBK. Having your wife leave you & then be expected to perform as a professional sportsman seems a bit harsh. Are you sure of your facts?

O'Brian is alright... I am sure something "lies" behind the issues at Leeds.

He was good at Bradford, steady at Newcastle, overrated at Bolton and never cut it at Leeds.

Good luck getting your last pay day on the South Coast AOB....

Yes, he's quite a bit of a Nicky Hunt in our eyes after his moaning. You are welcome to him. Players who have a job and refuse to do it are taking the p*** out of all of the young lads that don't get a contract or career. How callous and selfish. So..... he did ok for us tbh but needs taking down a peg or two to realise just how fortunate he has been in his career and he should be setting an example to the younger lads.

I hope he does well for City if he goes there but I hope he takes a massive wage cut.

    Nice...

Probably needs a new start, a fresh challenge, etc to get his mind back on playing football again.

If DM thinks he can do the job for us, then I am happy for him to come here, we are re-building for the future - I doubt we will be paying him anywhere near that though...

I see on sky sports that both Leeds and City have enquired about Kirk Broadfoot from Rangers.
