You honestly think he was being serious? Does the fact that even the OP admits he got it wrong after being shown the evidence that he isn't anti-English (see Tim Henman) not make you think you've got it wrong?

I don't really care if you like Murray or not but don't base it on something isn't even true. Be better than that.
 
Murray probably does 100s of interviews all the time. He's Scottish, so probably was having a bit of banter with the reporters, he's still quite young and seems a bit mouthy. If all you have as proof of his anti-englishness is a **** joke he made 5 years ago then you're a bit dumb <ok>
 
A joke which, by the way, came about as a result of him being ribbed about Scottish football by Tim Henman and others. Which of course would, by the logic of the mentally-challenged on here, mean that Henman he must be anti-Scottish.

Apart from the context of the joke and the fact he said it was a joke and the fact that even Tim Henman says Murray is proud to be British and doesn't hate the English.

But apart from that I'm sure you're right.
 
Oh look I am offended by a joke Murray made as a reply to Henman slagging him off FIVE years ago and now I will hate him forever. Jesus Christ grow the **** up will you.

PNE what's your point? Do you really think he hates the English for not wanting our football team to win the World Cup? Have you ever met anyone from another country? How often do they say 'I hope your country wins it'. It's a bit of 5 year old banter, if you have any more proof then I'm more than willing to accept it <ok>

Hero? Why would he be my hero. It is not just negative comments though is it? I made negative comments about his myself. His bottle went. You are disliking him over something that is nonsense. He was making a joke in reply to Henman fs it's common knowledge.

I see from earlier in the thread you hinted at Andy Murray being anti-English on account of the whole Paraguay shirt nonsense. You got that wrong. That's fair enough. But it does rather give the impression that you're the sort to jump to wrong conclusions when you're not particularly knowledgeable about a subject. I would include tennis in that.

Oh, for the love of God.

First of all, you base your dislike for him on something that's been proved wrong. So now you change and and claim it's because he's a mummy's boy, a bottler and irritating in general (you must spend a lot of time in his company I'm guessing).

Now you're changing it to Scotland v England which doesn't stand up either because he represents Britain at events like Wimbledon.

You really are doing a great job of making a **** of yourself.
