Just fell out with a lad I've been doing a few things with. He's a good kid and that's what is pissing me off. He's been keeping hold of our money, something kicked off a few days ago, not between us, we had no choice but to back up a person and unfortunately that meant we fell on opposite sides. I called it a day on what we were doing and told him I'd collect my money on Friday night, he told me that he had a lot on and did I mind waiting until today. I called at teatime and he 'fessed up to spending a portion of it, I made him go round his families homes to get my money together what he owed, I've got it all back now. Didn't want to do it, he's a good lad but things went pear shaped. Ah well
Guess its down to achievment rather than personality. Murray has the personality of a boil in the bag kipper
Ah well. Maybe it was a sign to stop doing business and to keep the friendship. Now there's no money involve you can sort it out. Like you say he's sound.
I'm ****ing spitting feathers the neet as well.. I'm getting solar panels fitted tomorrow and the scaffold was due to be put up today..They eventually turned up at 4pm when it was dark and they went into my elderly next door neighbours garden to get some of the poles up without asking for permission..My poor neighbour nearly collapsed with shock when she saw the blokes outside her back window and she went berserk with my misses.. I'm pleased I was at work or I would have had hell on with them. I found the company up when I got in and they tried to fob it off that they were sub contractors. I was having none of it and was a hairs breath away from cancelling the order. In the end they have promised to send someone round to offer a full apology to my neighbours and promised that we will be the first job in the morning with the scaffold took down immediately afterwards by this neck end sub contractors who they said will not be working for them in the future..
That's ridiculous. Regardless of using sub contractors or not, the work is assigned to them and therefore any work undertaking is their responsibility. Your poor neighbour, I hope they have the decency to go that extra mile and turn up with some flowers for her, that's the very least they can do.
Noooo.. The ones that you get fitted for free you never own and the company get the profits. I will more than make up for the money I'm forking out over the period they will be on my roof..
Really? Its something we get asked for a lot. But the price of them here is mental and with their limited lifespan are not a viable option. Mental really, in a country that is constantly sunny, you,d think they would be standard. But there are many solar panel fields popping up now, so maybe this is something they are looking at. I may do some more research on them, as i get enquiries often.
Do it mate, get in their first and muller it. I wish I had of jumped on the solar panels but I missed the boat and there's a load of companies out there doing it now.
For some reason they still cost a fortune. Might look at China about imports. (Oh no not them chinese)
I wouldn't mind importing some of their women. You build new houses for people with money, don't you? With all the benefits you'll be able to tell them about the solar panels, it should be an easy sell to get them to spend a few more quid...
I know. May do some investigation. Anothet down side is, they are ugly. If you are spending 300k on a house, last thing they want to see is solar panels.
No, that's the first thing they want to see. Everybody is getting them done and they don't want to miss out or have to have them fitted at a later date. If they do it now, it's incorporated in the price and means they don't need builders back to do more alterations to the house at an additional cost
