I am afraid we have the enraged by proxy. Since the 1970's we have a growing band of blinkered, know it all meddlers who will take offence on behalf of those that did not have a clue they were being offended. The great sitcoms of the 70's were outlawed by ignorant pant sniffing liberals looking for a hurt when none was there. This has become epidemic in all walks of life and so much so that our civil courts are now flooded with vexatious litigants claiming discrimination and pretend psychological injuries looking to make money on our weak and limp judicial system.

Nationalism is in reality little more than patriotic pride. Sadly when I look around London these days - apart from feeling in a distinct minority for being English in the first place, I feel very little pride in our capital city. Immigration has absolutely got this country by the bollox. You can no longer enter a Starbucks in London without being swiftly accosted by a Romanian with a moustache (these are the females) begging for money. I always tell them, without fail, to "f** off".

Being an old folkie from the '60's revival I probably know more about England's folk tradition than 99% of English people, it was Nic Jones who made me realise what fantastic songs you have. His album "Penguin Eggs" is a masterpiece. And there's absolutely nothing to stop anyone from enjoying their own roots music- try "Folk on 2" Wednesdays at 7.

I love Nic Jones and a whole lot of other English folkies like Seth Lakeman, Kate Rusby. Have you been to the Cambridge Folk festival Forest? I have been three times and it is a fantastic event. There are people who are two through to people who are eighty two. The atmosphere is fantastic and although people get hammered, the chilli cider is a must, there is never any aggression or nastiness. Well worth a visit. I suppose I am just a hippie at heart. Peace and love is so much better than hatred and prejudice.

I can't think of many Mexicans Italians Greeks or Indians that are proud to be a naturalised Brit? Why would they? Otherwise they'd be british? They profit on their foreigners status as a business and rightly so. How many Greek restaurants fly the british flag? You don't see pictures of Big Ben in a Taco Bell or plastic mockup of the Houses of Parliament at the Star of Bengal. And exactly how many Mexicans do you know that want to be british? As the scots proved last week it only pays to be british when it suits your pocket or your sexual perversions.

Err Ken we don't. The vast majority of organised Gang child rapes are carried out by Muslim men. Pimping is almost solely organised by foreign gangs.

Do you not think we should ease the strain on the NHS, the prison service, housing, schools, and the dole queue before allowing droves of unneeded foreigners in?

What can be the benefit of giving a home and dole money to immigrants who have no intention of working for a living?

Why must we keep thousands of foreign criminals in our prisons?

Why do immigrants jump the queue for housing, school places, and hospital beds? And, yes, it does happen.

There are so many questions to be answered, yet those who ask them are branded as racists.

The problem is Ted that at some point you have to draw the line. I can tell you from my own professional background that for every honest Joe coming into this country to contribute, there is another one here illegally/overstaying past their visa/scrounging/ dipping in the Black Economy....or committing crime. That is the reality of uncontrolled immigration, which has seen over 3 million foreigners come in over the last ten years. I had a sorry experience of the negative impact of immigration two weeks ago - everyone on the Left talks about how we "couldn't run our wonderful NHS without all those wonderful foreigners" - bollox. A trip to A&E lasted a full six and a half hours, when eventually patience was exhausted I discovered that there were two people still in front in the queue - both were Asian- neither spoke or understood English. They were causing a severe backlog as doctors & nurses were waiting for translators to "describe that pain in your tummy". Frankly I would have chucked them both out of the hospital and deported them the next day.

Immigration is a liberal's wet dream, for the rest of us it is a day to day nightmare.
