A quick recap - remember Andy Murray ? The guy who wraps himself in the Union Jack for two weeks in every year, the guy who basks in the adulation of the English strawberry eating middle classes at Wimbledon....the guy who lives in leafy Surrey with his English girlfriend....

Good old Andy has chosen today to reveal he supports Scottish Independence <doh>

He is entitled to his view like the other 4.3m Scots voting....but what a prize English hating, self loathing hypocrite <whistle>

I may be nit-picking here, Vol, but do I detect the slightest hint of anti-Scottish sentiment to your posts?
 
Scottish or no, he is a prize ****er.

There will still be an army of prats sitting on Murray Mount next summer. They should call it the Pillock Hillock.
 
Very silly from Murray in my opinion... Should have waited until tomorrow to see what the Result is before admitting that, gonna be even more unpopular now

That's the trouble with Alex Salmond's talk about creating a more just society- people tend to want it when it makes them better off, but when it makes them worse off, by paying more tax, well that's a different matter. This isn't a 100% rule, but is roughly true of all nationalities.

Because, like Mo Farah, he loves the rewards that England has to offer.

Our country has become nothing but a mere stepping stone to all and sundry, and no amount of Union Jack twirling will change that.
 
Are you equating Murray with an immigrant from Somalia?

I still don't understand why you would live in a country if you hate its people so much?
 
I find it strangely ironic that those celebrities that campaign for independence don't even live in Scotland. Sean Connery has not set foot in Scotland for donkey years, Andy Murray lives in thamesmead and even wee jimmy krankie lives in Aldershot.
