I agree, I think that pretty much sums up what I said. We make the chances, we just can't do anything with them.
You only have 25 shots more than us (if you're right then thats not even two games worth) whereas we have 15 more goals than you. I think you'll agree that *baased on that* Leicester are more entertaining to watch.
Are you suggesting that you're only ever entertained at a football match when you score? Presumably, you rather watch Stoke play for 90 minutes in a 2-0 win, than watch Barcelona play 90 minutes in a 0-0 draw. I know which one I'd find more entertaining and it wouldn't involve Rory 'long ****ing throw' Delap. You don't half come out with some bollocks.
Based on this evidence you're both crap in entertainment terms compared to Leeds. We've had fewer shots than both of you yet more on target and more goals.
Them stats are wrong. For starters we have hit the woodwork 22 times this season. More then anyone else. Should we do a poll of how many goals are Leeds going to concede tommorow?
Or we could do one of how many more millions youre gunna waste in the summer? or how many still feel svens a 'world class' manager?
No, as I previously said, if neither of us are going to get the results needed to take us up then the team that creates the most chances is the one I'd rather watch whether those chances are put away or not. Anticipation and rarity of events adds to the excitement/entertainment of watching something. Granted if it goes too far that way you reach the point where you default to expecting the miss and it stops being entertaining as there's no tension. I have that when McLean gets into a shooting position, other players it's still creaes tension for me though.
Shots on target also mean those straight at the keeper which I assume the majority of the Hull ones are hence the lack of goals.
Yet again, you've completely ignored my point. You've only got 25 shots more than us this season (way under 1 per game more) yet you've scored 15 less. I know exactly which team i'd rather watch between Leicester and Hull. Both play free flowing football and create chances but Leicester take them which usually leaves me with a big smile on my face come 5:00 on a saturday evening knowing i've been entertained. Would you rather watch a 3-3 draw in which 6 chances are created or a 0-0 draw in which 10 are created? 'You don't half talk some bollocks'.
You've not allowed for the change of manager in making those stats. Under Barmby, with the odd game here and there breaking the trend we seem to be making a lot more chances but being less clinical than we were under NP. The end result means we're totalling the same shots over the season about the same as you and Leeds, but the football has been far better under Barmby, just as it was better under NP this season than last season, and last season compared to Brown/Dowie. And that comment about last season should tell you something since it was November before I managed to see us score and it was still better than the PL had been for 18 months.
Yeah I saw it good save, although it was fairly straightforward. Plus he shouldn't have had to save it. Millwall scored a perfectly reasonable goal.
FFS mod man,Barcelona get lots of 0-0's then do they, and play just like dull.Stupid example m8.the likes of Messi is like watching a different sport to dull.
Fair point. He didn't shower himself in glory, i'll agree. But all in all he was excellent in what he had to do. He made up for his error with a massive save later on when he charged out at Josh King (what he should have done to Fryatt). But with the goal Danns tried a Cruyff Turn against two players and failed. Plus SSL should have really got back faster, Fryatt is not that fast.
