Gutted to hear the news today that Andy Llewellyn has been jailed for three years.

He was one of my favourate players growing up, sad to see what ex footballers get up to after they finish their playing careers.

The man broke the law and has to pay for his betrayal as a servant of trust of the public but there seems to be circumstances here where he was being blackmailed and his son was being threatened.

I think a lot of us would think twice if our families or children were being put under threat and the police can't and won't be everywhere despite their efforts, with this in mind and having children and indeed grandchildren of my own,I'll look upon this case with a little humility before I pass any comments.

you agree with me then <ok>

Under the circumstances, I wouldn't pass judgement. However I do know how it feels when some arsehole gets into your house and knicks irreplaceble items of personal value!

Andy Llewellyn was one of my favourite players - always played with his heart on his sleeve. I suppose thats what happens if you end up in Weston! <whistle>
