Thank goodness Max got sent off...it has forced Grayson to get a striker in!! Keogh needs to play every week, and then we will see a sharpshooter. He had too many sub appearances in the past which has wrecked his goals/games ratio. Welcome back son...we are Leeds!

Guys i dont usually post on other clubs boards, however i have to give a true appraisal of Mr Keogh, at this level, he does not cut the mustard, he was awful for us last year, then he went to Bristol City and was also awful so unless you have some sort of ' Make me into a good striker dust ' then he will be awful for you also, McCormack will click and he is quality when on song, Good Luck

1 goal every 4 games still isn't exactly a bad showing though is it?

It's better than Howard's since he left Luton.

Enoch, why would we drop Brown for Keogh? Our midfield 4 tomorrow will be something like Sam, Brown, Clayton, Snoddy, with Nunez possibly starting ahead of Sam (or Snoddy if SG feels he already needs a break). This will then leave SG free to play McCormack & Keogh up front.

I think this is a signing that will bring the best out of other players, as appose to Keogh himself. 1 goal every 4 games isn't terrible, it's an okay contribution, especially seeing as a lot of his appearances in his career have been as a sub. He's tall, and he's better than Paynter. So with Becchio and Somma out, he'll be good to partner McCormack uptop. McCormack is definitely a player who needs to be alongside a physical presence, which Keogh can provide, that why he can drop off and make his runs into the channels. He was quality doing this the last 2 games of last season alongside Billy, so I reckon he'll be much better not as a lone striker.

I'm hoping for a 4-4-2. Snodgrass should be dropped. He's played poorly last 2 games, whereas Sam did well against Bradford and in preseason. Snoddy doesn't look match fit to me, he did have an injury in pre season as well so that could be why. Put Nunez on the left, and let Sam hug the right touch line and put in crosses for Keogh like he does so well.

We had him last year - couldn't get in the side regularly, thank God he was recalled by Wolves and the went to the Wurzels. Good luck, you are going to need it with him up front.

ffs, are some of you actually Ken Bates? Keogh is garbage and that's why he's failed at all the clubs he played for. He's cheap and that's all that matters. No other clubs showed any interest in the guy, so he's ended up here....PATHETIC AND MAKES US EVEN MORE OF A JOKE.

    PROTEST, PROTEST, PROTEST......

Interesting! My post was deleted when all I said (in similar wording and with no bad language) was that I wasn't that impressed with him at Cardiff last year. Wonder if this will get the same treatment: 1984 and all that.
Seriously, he wasn't that great for us - played a few little cameo roles quite well, but most of our lot were glad to see him be called back to Wolves (he wasn't playing regularly, so he ended up at Bristol City).
We used him as just a filler in for injuries - if you plan to do the same then he'll be OK, but he won't get you promoted!

Pure daft this. Keogh hasnt kicked a ball for us yet and already some of the know alls are having a go at him. How about wait till he has five our six games under his belt and then see what hes made of. Weve plenty of other under achievers to slate if youre feeling that critical

My comment is based on watching him play for Ireland, Wolves and Bristol City. I have also listened to others who watch him on a more regular basis and haven't found one person who rates him.

He certainly didn't fail at Scunthorpe and has played 118 games for Wolves.
