Yea i do get your point, i just saw it as an opportunity really. I dont understand the negativity, im quite happy with this signing. He helped wolves get out of this league, did OK at cardiff and has done very well at scunthorpe. He has played in the prem and i think will do well at leeds, this could pose the question of will we finally play 442?

its always the same moaning if we sign someone .....
clearly we are not scoring and he is a proven finisher....
i still think we have a issue at the back but midfield i think is ok....

i hope he bangs a few in and he will want to do well...and prove we should not have let him go....

Actually, he wasn't deemed good enough for Cardiff, his season long loan was cancelled in January as he wasn't getting any game time, having been dropped after scoring twice in 17 appearances. He's not a bad player though, he's certainly a vast improvement on Paynter.

Why do Hull fans keep acting like Paynter is our main striker? He's probably better than their 4th choice.

he is a good addition, but my only doubt is if he can play up front on his own? is he another McCormack? i'd have liked Howard from leicester for the type of system we seem to be playing, as he would take a battering to let our wingers in to get the goals. still i'm happy we've signed someone, i guess the german wasnt up to much on friday?

Another Bates money saving exercise. Hope it works out, but I don't rate him. But he can't be worse than Paynter.

Let's hope SG now plays 2 up front with Nunez on the left of a 4 man midfield

could work well, Snods, Brown, Clayton, Nunez with 2 up front. we may see Brown and Clayton both play better in 4-4-2

Better than nothing and better than some we have been linked with, any better than McCormack? I doubt it...

Let's hope he gives us all some hope and excitement for the games ahead by banging a couple in tomorrow night and improving on that 'proven finisher' *ahem* goal scorer tag.

Just because all your other strikers seem to be knackered at the moment.
