AG is well past his sell by date and I am delighted the dinosaur has got the push though not sure why Keys has been spared. I have read that part of this sacking is down to the fact he suing the NotW for alleged hacking of his phone.

I would welcome James Richardson but Marcelino does a bit of work for Revista La Liga so he might be a possible replacement.

There's absolutely no place for Andy Gray's sexist behaviour in the modern society, furthermore to use the excuse" he's of an age where it was always known as banter" is a completely archaic view in itself.

I just hope they don't replace him with a slit arse.

I know a little bit about this having worked for Sky for a while. The guy was seriously unpopular at Sky and they were just itching for an excuse to get rid of him. He was basically an arrogant tosser who had slagged off the wrong people. He was also in the process of taking legal advice against News International over the Snooze of the World's phone tapping. News International owned by Rupert Murdoch, who incidentally owns Sky, way to commit professional suicide Andy.

No WAY!! That man if an absolute moron!!!

Loving the profile pic OT. <laugh>

Not loving people referring to both me and Andy Gray as AG though.

If Keys and Gray had been talking about Massey jokingly then there wouldn't be anything wrong IMO. But their comments were more malicious than that, and they genuinely seemed to be under the impression that women were incapable of understanding the offside rule. Considering you get female neurosurgeons and stuff I don't see where those to thick ****s get off thinking they're more intelligent than all women because they understand something as basic as the offside rule.

The thing with Charlotte Jackson was sleazy, but I wouldn't say it was a sackable offence. Either way I have no sympathy for a twat like him losing his job.

Thought he was bigger than he actually was and was irreplacable, fair enough having banter like joking if she knew the offside rule to me is a harmless comment.
But the other stuff like saying he wouldn't do her or asking a lass to tuck his shirt in at the front, makes him a dirty pervert. ****ing grow up, glad he got sacked tosser. Looks like Richard Keys should get the same IMO

Not sure about that AG (sorry) :-) in any other work place if you did something like that you'd likely to get sacked. Andy Gray has been stitched up slightly though, the story about Charlotte Jackson came out just after the Massey incident even though it happened in December. As I said above Sky high ups were looking for a reason to get rid.

Ray Hudson has to be a replacement!

I can't stand Andy Gray but the hypocrisy surrounding the whole incident is a joke! If we're firing people for sexist remarks and 'old fashioned' views then there's 5 slags with a regular slot on ITV who need a booting off our screens! Loose Women spend their lunch times grinding their menopausal holes against the seats of their swivel chairs and spouting off ****e about how men can't do the dishes and are praised for being 'strong'!?!?!

Alfie: If it was just the one remark he'd get away with it, if he was harassing her (which he might have been) then it's a sackable offence.

Today's Sun(yes I know not the most reliable source and yes also owned by Murdoch) says he repeated the comment to her 3 times. Basically he's a scumbag and deserved to go but apparently Richard Keys isn't much better but seems to have got away with it.

I'm glad to see the back of him, he was biased and unashamed, but I don't think he was sacked for the right reasons. One episode of Loose Women has a lot worse than what he has said/done.

I sort of agree with the PC gone mad sentiment, but on the other hand Andy Gray had it coming!

You only have to watch Loose Women for five minutes to see that it is a show aimed at women who want to hear feminist issues and can expect to hear male related banter. But Sky have spent years building up Gray as some sort of expert analyst on all things football. So if they didn't act they could be seen as endorsing his views and actions regarding women in football.

Gray is obviously as thick as **** not to have realised this and therefore deserves everything he got! On a personal note - could never stand the Man U obsessed twat and thought he was a waste of space!

Sexism in football- it's a bit of a Gray area...

Glad he's gone. He's had to do a sweet **** all for the past 15-20 years and acted as if he was the greatest player to ever grace the game.

Anyone who's had some experience of the game could do what he did and get paid millions for it.

Hopefully that Richard Keys is on his way too! I can't stand him more!
