I've heard it all now.
Rooney has technique <laugh>. Since when?, has he developed it in the last five minutes? He hasn't shown that he has any from what I've seen. I think you should have a look at Luis Suarez at work to see what technique is. Rooney is no better than Andy Carroll, Andy Carroll will turn out to be more valuable long term.

Aguero
Benzema

Probably the 5 best forwards in the game, in my opinion, could be wrong though.

Ibrahimovic
Eto'o
Higuain
Torres(In liverpool/on form)
Drogba(on form)
Rooney

That's probably about it, the best top ten forwards in the world. Carroll is nowhere near these caliber of players........
 
Who else could you add?

Neymar in a couple seasons time, when he joins a European club. Pato, possibly, Jovetic, possibly. Can't think of anyone else that's got the ability to be comparable to one of those.

Suarez is up there with them.
 
Only an idiot would put Rooney in that list. I know Andy Carroll cannot be mentioned in that company, but definitely Rooney should not be mentioned alongside such players.
This is Rooneys standard.
Bobby Zamora.
Kevin Davies.
Shane Long.
Kevin Doyle.
Dirk Kuyt.
Thats who Rooney should be compared to. Even though Kevin Doyle is a better player than Rooney.
