lambert and holt. how rochdale never got promoted with those two up top i'll never know! both clever, both talented, both underrated. lambert better in terms of ability, holt more important to his team though. as for carroll, that's terrible news for west ham if true and all of a sudden they've gone from looking like a comfortable mid table side to a team which will struggle a little. i don't think they'll go down - allardyce doesn't do relegation - but they have built their entire side around carroll. it's bound to have a huge affect not having him at all.
