As a Sunderland fan happy as a pig in ****e, but becasue i am from the north east it is a little worring that two of the top players in the north east and have said how much they love the region handed in transfer requests just for more money.

just shows you can't trust footballers these days who ever they are all there worried about is how much money they can make from there next move.
 
there are two things that strike me about this;
First, at least Caroll can seriously argue that that he's leaving for a bigger team & I don't think Bent could.
Secondly, I think we'll cope better witout our "star" than they will without theirs.
Oh and thirdly ...... ha ha ha!!
