Hernandez will outscore Carrol everytime Wellbeck is atleast as good as is only getting better, Rooney is better at playing striker than Carrol, Young much better player Berba managed to get golden boot when playing week in week out, lets see Carrol achieve that. Carrol had a decent couple of years at Newcastle and looked good enough to command a £35m fee. Don't let a year under the terrible guidance of Dalglish discolour your opinion of a player who is actually quite a decent striker.

Strikers are meant to score goals. Rooney scores lots of goals. Therefore Rooney is a striker. Of the the teams above and their myriad awesome strikers only van Persie scored more than Rooney, our **** centre forward, and he is soon to leave Arsenal which pretty much leaves them ****ed. I would love to know the strikers Chelsea, Spurs and Newcastle have who are better than ours by the way. City do have some good ones, that I will concede.
If we got him dirt cheap for like £5m he'd be worth a gamble, but he's not worth anything more than that.
Lets take Newcastle.... Cisse is probable better than anything you have at your club currently so you would take him. Ba would also get into the team.
