Sounds like Townsend has made his claim on the left wing in style today. Great we have someone willing to and able to attack full backs, that can use both feet. I expect to see good things from him and Snodgrass, in much the same style that Snodgrass and Gradel tore teams apart. As for it being a loan, I have no problems with loans - I'm just tired of seeing us getting loans of older players who aren't in their first teams for a reason. Getting youngsters on loan from top premier league teams is what we should be doing with loans, players who are extremely talented, hungry for game time and truly want to play for the shirt, because their career depends on it. The rest should be reasonable transfer fees, academy products and the occasional, well selected freebie.
