Sell. I can't stand Arshavins attitude. He has never given 100% for us. This is a guy with unbelievable technical skill but just the worst attitude.
I've always said you just need to know what to expect from him. Even the last game he played before he left on loan last season he provided a key assist as a substitute that single-handedly gave us +2 points. The assist to Henry was typical. All our "hard-workers" had been going at it to no avail, and to be completely honest we looked clueless those 15 minutes. On comes Arshavin, minute 87 to replace Walcott. His genius of a cross literally came from nowhere, not even a half-chance. If you are willing to relieve him from any and all defensive duties the guy has the ability to unlock games (and he doesn't need to start games to do that). If you saw Russia play, even when their forwards were all back defending he was the furthest from the action. Their coach acknowledged that he couldn't be expected to track back often without it affecting his movement and passing at the other end.
So you think we should accept that he isn't really a team player because he has technical ability? I disagree completely. Berbatov is technically brilliant and united sold him for 5million after paying 30 because he has the same 'I'll wait for the game to come near my area of the pitch' attitude as Arsharvin. I think he has to go. We aren't going to play him unless we absolutely have to. If things get that bad (injury wise) just give some youngsters a go... It's fair to say Gibbs/LB is are worst 1st team starting defensive position (not a dig at gibbs, just he's the weakest of him, sagna, merts/kos, and verm) Putting Arsharvin in front of him is suicide!
In games like against Stoke where they where happy to sit back almost the entire game and defend Arshavin is useful, he has the ability to create break throughs in the 10 man walls we face! In games where we do not need the same defensive discipline he could still be a very useful player for us. But only if he accepts what his role in the team will be and works really hard to fulfill that result. He has real qualiy and hope he finds a place in our team, bu if not best of luck to him.

Arshavin is equal to 5 ( FOUR goals in THIRTY FIVE games !) Gervinhos. I hope we keep him . That game where we smashed Barca he was epic.
Arshavin is the sort of player we will need when we come up against teams who will park the bus. Against those type of teams, I would much rather have Arshavin than either Gervinho or Walcott.
Does he want to play though? Because playing an Arshavin who isn't interested in the game is worse than just not playing anyone at all and having ten men on the pitch.
Arshavin could have been a world beater. I've always thought he could be up there with the elite players of world football but he just does'nt have the right attitude. When you compare him to simular players like Tevez, Carzorla, Silva or even Messi its easy to see his work rate and appetite for the ball is WAY off. He will always do amazing things because of his natural talent. When you re-wtach some of his quality goals for Arsenal (Liverpool, Barcelona etc..) the first thing you notice is that he's actually VERY quick, How often do we see him sprinting like this??..the answer is only very occassionally. He should be running his socks off for Arsenal but he just casually strolls around the pitch waiting for the ball to be passed to him. Such a shame.

Arshavin is a brilliant player with the worst body language in EPL. He should have learned from Vermaelen: clench your feasts, stare at the camera as if you are going to kill the man behind it, run like mad after the goal, hug your partners as if you are going to marry them all tomorrow, and never, never go to the dressing room straight after the final whistle. if Arsenal won. Just hang around, hug your partners again and show your enthusiasm, for Christ sake. Just a little effort and you would be twice a player you are now. Who cares if you create goals, if you know when to run and when to have a little rest, nobody cares about it. Remember: attitude is everything.
is a lot of money to pay for a player who wont play. Surely Walcott, Oxlade Chamberlain, Cazorla, Ramsey, Wilshere, Giroud, Podolski, Diaby, Arteta are all ahead of him. He is lazy too.
