Just confirmed by the Stooge. Left Charlton last night by mutual consent. The last member of our legendary 4 man midfield from last season departs. Your favourite Crofts memories please...
but he said last week that Josh was a good player but we would have to create space for him in the squad... Gobbo talks with forked tongue
So we had to move 3 players on - one released and two loans, in order for KR to get a single loan in. Our books must be horribly unbalanced.
I'd steer clear of Wright if I were you, a lot of younger Gills fans claiming he's a legend, so what has he actually done to earn legend status, well some of the wee whipper snappers probably can't even remember 2009 when he was on loan, so we will not include that, what else has he done...well ermmmmm....oh yeah he scored a record hat-trick of penalties in a game...LEGEND He'll probably take to twitter now to complain about me....mind you he probably terminated his contract because I told him to **** off out of my club
ps. I also meant to say Wright wrote a fetching heart felt, tearful, emotional, loving goodbye to the fans...I'm sure you don't need me to repeat my response to it
I remember seeing Josh Wright make his debut for us - I think it was under Parky at home to Norwich. Basically he is not very good. Film star image, bin man's ability.
I always thought Arter was the better of the two - Pardew disagreed. Wright was talented without being spectacular.
