Pretty much agree with you Manuel. I thought that AVB was brought in to change the system at Chelsea and get different systems in place. As was said on 5Live today, that takes 3 seasons to achieve. Either give him time to achieve what he was employed to do, or don't give him that remit in the first place. Who would take on Chelsea now!!??
Getting rid of the best players can't be the answer for every team's problems! Lampard hasn't said a word about being dropped. People have just made that up because they want to hate him.
AVB was just trying to get the best out of the player, there's enough talked about it everywhere for me to think there is no smoke without fire. No player should be in the position where they think they are undroppable.
Yep it's Jose I reckon. If you believe the rumours, which I like to do on occasion, then Terry got him sacked the last time. I'm sure the Special One will have a remit to ship out whoever he doesn't like, unlike AVB

It was a stupid decision to appoint AVB in the first place. He’d gone from managing a second rate Portuguese team to easily the best and most talented squad in Portugal with Porto; winning the treble, although commendable, wasn’t exactly the managerial success story of the decade. Ambromovich wanted the Chelsea squad overhauled, he wanted someone to bring through the youth, transform an aging squad and all of this whilst still expecting success. You only have to look down the road at Arsenal to see what a big task it is to overhaul a squad and bring through younger players. It was a big ask for any experienced manager, let alone someone with relatively little experience. AVB may have made some bad choices (see OLM comment re Napoli game) but surely if you spend 13 million to get your manager, give him millions to spend in the transfer market, you should give him some more time to do what he has been asked to do. Chelsea will move on, RA will shell out more money to chase his dream, but I fear that AVB will have a lot of work to do to repair his tarnished reputation. Some may feel sympathy for him, but he’s been made a big scapegoat by Chelsea!!
Jose with a J is the correct pronunciation. when I visited my cousin in Portugal a few years ago I got a full half hour lecture on the fact that it was their Iberian neighbours who do the Jose with an H.
