Ayew was a big statement signing. This, should we pull it off would be a HUGE statement of intent.

Sadly,"statements of intent" just don't win matches/tournaments/titles. If they did, every team would be world beaters. <cheers>

Sadly Vetch, your last word in that post sums your biterness up perfectly.

You're the only poster to post anything negative on here for weeks.
    Grow up.

Mitrovic is a goal scoring talent and at such a young age, think he's about 20, hope we are in for him he would add some bite up front without doubt, and will push Gomis, who I think could well be injury prone next season............<ok>

Couldn't agree more Valley, and well stated Dai...................<cheers>

Over everybody Dragon, this is the guy I've been praying for for months now, I think he would just fit in here. He will certainly add bite up front and we may have to put up with some tantrums, he is young and volatile. To get the best out of him would require a bit of effort from Monk and co, but the potential pay-off is huge.

I think Bafe wouldn't be happy at all with more strong competition, he seemed to sulk when Bony was here which did concern me at the time even though he came good post Bony. I agree too Dragon, Bafe could well miss a few games through injury

Potentially Mitrovic is a fantastic prospect and would need to be a considered signing, If it's possible though we MUST make it happen because I feel Mitrovic is Diego Costa at 20 but with more potential and more talent.

I'm concentrating on my breathing exercises to calm myself down.

    How about this team next season;

    ---------------------------- 1) Lukasz Fabianski -----------------------------------
    -------------- 4) Federico Fernandez --- 5) Ash Williams --------------------
    2) Kyle Naughton ------------------------------------------- 3) Frank Tabanou
    ---------------------- 6) Jack Cork---------18) Ki-----------------------------------
    --------------------------
    21) Jefferson Montero --- 10) Siggy ------------- 11) Andre Ayew
    ---------------------------- 9) Bafetimbi Gomis ------------------------------

A lot of pace and creativity in that team. An upgrade on Gomis would be the icing on the cake!

That side can hold its own against any side next season. Another striker and back up GK and we are looking very strong next season, and if Routs and Dyer overcome their ops and start running forward again we have a lot of pace in the squad.
