I was a fan of Southgate and thought how he developed England over his reign from The debacle of Hodgson 2014/2016 was fantastic , and it was only a matter of time until we got success . The starting line up of tonight’s game feels like a massive backwards step , success doesn’t feel that close . I’m sure there are contributing factors like injuries and squad pullouts , I honestly haven’t followed it , genuinely didn’t even know about this game until yesterday . Just an early opinion , Still early days I know
To quote John Peel, “About as exciting and creative as a small carton of lukewarm ostrich piss!” Two hours of my life that I’ll never get back.
Bookies rubbing their hands together thinking offers of England smashing Andorra have just made them millions, wishing they’d upped the cap on their max bets! Turned it on at half time & saw the goal, but for every single person that slated Southgate, THIS is the ****e you’ve got!
Why the **** is Henderson back in the England set up? Even Southgate ****ed him off! England going ****ing backwards!
If their one and only chance had gone in that would have been the main headline on the late BBC news tonight. Typical England....pedestrian at best...Burn and Henderson ffs....
It simply doesn't mean as much to English players as it does the likes of Argentina,Portugal ,Spain , France etc. Look at the teams busting a gut to win the Nations League whilst we have a couldn't care less attitude .
How much do they get paid for 'representing' their country..?.... how much do they get paid for 'misrepresenting' their country..?
