That's at their place though, it's always different on the travels - they wont be playing as quick & attacking football, most teams play more defensively away from home including us.
Plus our players have the incentive of payback and we didn't have Tiote for that game if my memory serves me correctly, it was a complete off-day on our part (Judas aside) and they punished us for it.
I'm not saying we should mark it as a definite win, but it is a winnable game and will be a lot tighter than the last time we played each other.

No Newcastle preview would be complete without a word about Captain Fantastic. With 10 goals this season it’s hard to argue that he has not had an influence. Newcastle have lost only once when he has scored and he has netted in every home win this season, most notably with a hat-trick against the Mackems. Interestingly, he has only managed to scuff one over the line since Andy Carroll's absence in the lineup. For me, he poses a greater challenge to the weighing scales than he does in midfield. Five of his goals have come in games where teams have rolled over at the Sports Direct and that's not going to happen on Saturday.

We are stronger in the middle of the park!

Agree with all this. Holden and Davies are two very talented and gifted technical midfielders(box-to-box types aswell). Nolan I'm afraid apart from his goals, experience, being a great lad(on and off the pitch) and his leadership, offers very little in midfield, without Tiote he'll look awfully average, interestingly enough Holden would be the perfect player to partner Tiote in the middle! He has it all! Tackling, nippy, stamina, pace, combative and technically very good.

" this is a 'pivotal' game which will propel them to Europe this year. Is he deluded? Quite possibly"

Pardew said it was a pivotal game, yes. But he also said we were not even thinking about europe and survival is key! lol - We'll set a new target after we're safe lol

This guy is clueless. Stronger in the middle of the park indeed? Barton, Tiote, Jonas, Nolan? lmao Esp with Gosling and Guth in the background, the guy is a loop-fruit lol

I'm not expecting it to be an easy game, but I do expect it to be completly diffrent to the one at their place. And I do honestly think we have mor than enough to get something out of this match.

As people have said we were missing Barton and Tiote that day, and looking past our recent home form and their away record (2 wins away all season) I'd hardly put this as the walk in the park this numpty has made it out to be.

How is this deluded? we sit 1 point behind them in the league and 4 off Liverpool in 6th. It's not mathematically out of reach or impossible for us to achieve.
