If i was asked to name my top 1000 players ever 'Kenny' wouldn't even enter my ****ing head. Not for a second. That's because I'm a United fan and think he's a prick. In case you hadn't noticed, that list was on a United fanzine site so just what do you expect?
I'm sorry mancs but if a player can't even tackle he cannot ever be considered a top midfielder. PAul schole is a grea tplayer as a deep lying playmaker who is always available for a pass, has the ultimate range of passing and is a great stiekr of the ball to boot... but if you cannot even put a foot in without going two footed or lunging you cna't be considered in the same breath as many greats... utd have had far far better IMO, let alone in england and in the past ten years you could name 5-6 playmakers in world football who can actually tackle. rui costa, pirlo, xavi to anme just a couple without even thinking. For me it is unbeleivable that i nthe prem scholes has not been sent off many many more times especially since in europe he was always judged only on the merits of the tackle and did get the yellows and reds... tantamount to evidence that english refs got after loud mouths and trouble makers rather than ref a game. IMO scholes is as bad as barton on many occasions but never runs his mouth or makes a refs job hard so he's let off. greats fro the past that'd laugh at scholes would be giles, charlton, souness, robson (seriously even robson) and the list would go on and on.
