The players ability is not in question, they haven't become bad players overnight. There is an extreme lack of confidence which I think is down to a manager who can't motivate his players. A lot of players looked disinterested and frustrated last night. They seemed afraid and our play lacked fluidity. We didn't do any of the basics right and on this form if we do stay in the playoffs we have no chance of winning them. I'm normally optimistic but am struggling this morning. I don't know what good a managerial change would do now for rest of season but I think a change in the summer is needed.
Ron Atkindon/Di Canio dream team.I wonder which players they would get rid of first?Lovely lovely people Whether they would be the final solution for you.....?
The old pope is free. These germans know how to organise things.Who knows he may look to get in a few younger lads
Actually they have both taken a team up to the Premier League via the play-offs, and they are available now
We just need to play the 4-4-2, with Knockaert and Nugent and wood up top and James in the middle - thats what has worked all season. If the strikers arent performing, i say no harm in trying our Jeff...
you're ****, and it's Pearson's fault you're ****, and it's Pearson's fault quite funny really - i've never come across a team that blames it's managers as much as Leicester - perhaps it's the **** fans that get on the backs of the players and managers that create all the negativity and affect the team's performance - perhaps its better as 'you're **** and it's your own fault' is more appropriate
.. but they have played in this recent poor run .... Pearson almost seemed resigned to his fate to me on the short extract I saw of his post match interview on the FLS last night .... Di Canio or Di Matteo wet the pallet a bit more than either McDermott or Adkins ... and our owners 'chequebook' might be good 'persuaders' for any manager - and I'm not being arrogant here - the only Prem clubs that might look for new managers would be those coming down this season and their owners might not be as 'generous' as ours ... hey ho ... no point on dwelling ... whatever will be will be ..
... and the winner of 'knob post' of the weekend is sharon-the-fairyman for this ditty .... .. let's start with Chelsea as the most obvious eh?.... but there are plenty of other outstanding candidates too ....
... not about formations ed - for whatever the reason the players have stopped performing and seem to have lost confidence, belief and perhaps commitment - that more or less stops at one door ... the manager - I know that many others disagree, but for me it goes back to the Huddersfield cup tie ... 'never change a winning team' - (unless they are injured) ...
... and on the next manager front - one guy who has really impressed me and might well want to take the next step - Uwe Rosler
think you'll find most Chelsea fans have been supportive of their managers and the success they have brought - its the owner not the fans you silly **** - anyway the joke's on you - all that money, all that expectation and you can hardly get in the playoffs - eight more games to **** that up too
I'm no fan of Nigel's because of the shoddy way in which he left Hull City and took the whole management support structure with him at a vital part of the season. However, he is not a bad manager - not as good as he seems to think he is but well capable of doing a good job from Championship level down. However, I don't think it's a good idea to change horses at this stage of the season. He might still turn things around and the Leicester squad is certainly capable of mounting a credible play off challenge. Of the alternatives mentioned in this thread I think Di Matteo is by far the most likely to succeed and I'm pretty sure that Nigel Adkins would offer a sure route to continued disappointment.
...course the have Sharon .... Rafa Benitez is just feeling the love ...as did Alex McLeish at Villa .... and Roy Hodgson at Liverpool ...now isn't is it about time you went and squeezed your spots so your face can settle down before school tomorrow?
I have been of the opinion for quite a while now that Mr. Pearson is damaged goods in the eyes of the owners..no matter what the outcome of the season is. he has zero chance of leading this club in the premier league even if by some fluke we managed to go up... he just lacks the know how and intelligence to be top drawer..
Hull fans giving it the biggun, will you stop acting like children and just ****ing get over it? You act like Pearson is the only manager ever to leave a club. **** me, nobody has ever kicked up this much fuss. You'd think Ferguson had left to manage Liverpool. It was 16 months ago. I've never seen anyone hold a grudge that long. I dread to think what you'll do when Bruce, a manager you actually seem to like, leaves you.
Here, I'll even be kind and chuck in a free website link for ya http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/forgiveness/MH00131 Because, you know, I'm nice like that
