Well its just you are really dismissive of falling out of the top 4 in one post and in the next you are talking about the club unravelling and how Wenger is clueless.
I'm not changing your statements, just seems odd with you being optimistic one moment and pessimistic the next. i wouldn't say we are unravelling, just staying in the same place with little sign of change.
If our team was that poor then we would have definitely dropped out of the top 4 by now. Fabregas is not inconsistent, he is definitely a good enough footballer to be captain and most of our players are of good quality (if lacking in physicality and nerve at crucial moments). I am not putting a brave face on it this is how I see our squad.
Many of you are overreacting, Arsenal are notorious for keeping things hidden so it's unlikely that the media will know what's going on, and neither will the fans. If half of the 'transfer rumours' were true a lot of clubs would be bankrupt. You really think we would be in talks for all the people they say we are?
