I think it might depend on how many games Daws gets, he won't want to sit out an entire season. I'm not suggesting full transfers either, I expect loan deals too.

    A Freudian Slip? Gallas then.

Don't start on spelling mistakes we just got rid of the arch offender SD. <laugh>

  3. I can't see any player wanting to leave us for QPR. Dawson has already turned them down once, and now that he's getting a chance in the first XI, he'll be hungry for more.

Gallas? May be, but only if AVB's interest in him is waning, otherwise, no.

I think AVB is beginning to see the value of Dawson and when Kaboul returns Gallas will start to look superfluous.

That means absolutely nothing, the circs couldn't be any more different now.

Daws has been hungry for a game all season, so that comments a bit limp too. Like i said its about manager faith and how many games he gets off AVB between now and Jan, Harry on the other hand does have faith in Daws as we know and will play him. The point is Kaboul will be back (hopefully) for the second half of the season, and we can only play 2 CB's.

I can see the value of Dawson and/or Gallas to the (no offence intended) lower clubs, but QPR and probably Southampton especially. Whether they'll want to go is another matter. Both are good defenders but also good organisers, something that may be lacking from the defences of those two clubs.

QPR have 7 games before the transfer window opens. Should they get some wins in these games and so give themselves a fighting chance of staying up, then I can see at least of couple of our players who are not getting regular football, be tempted to go there.

Tomorrows teamsheet will be interesting, after a good win it shouldn't change, but Daws will be sweating imo. If Gallas is being dropped in favour of Daws, I'm still not sure that will be enough for him when all CB's are fit, he's still 4th choice. Thats how it seems for now, as I said the next couple of teamsheets will tell us more.

If Dawson can consistently show the form he was showing 2 years ago before his injury, then I would hope he still has a future at Spurs. Unfortunately he hasn't quite reached that standard for a while so I agree with Notso and also reckon that when all CB's are fit he'll go back to being 4th or 5th choice. I would put money on Harry coming in for him in January.

Just to add to this, Steffen Freund likes to give a "best trainer of the week" award and the player who has won it the most times is Dawson. His attitude has been first class throughout and I really hope he has a future wih us.

In my view, this is certainly no time to be thinking about selling players such as Dawson. Galas has no played well so far this season, and our defensive problems continue. 22 goals conceded in 13 games. IMO, Dawson should now be given a run in the starting eleven, at least until Kaboul is fit again.

No, you've been offline for a while mate.

First thing to check is if the facility is switched on...

Top of the page on the right 'control panel' click it
Then on the left, scroll down the list and click on 'general settings'
The 3rd block down is 'private messaging' and just click on the relevant 'dot', if it already is, let us know. <ok>

    1) Pompey were in deep financial trouble and had to sell....we did not.

    2) Defoe rarely played under redknapp and even when he scored he'd end up back on the bench but now he is virtually guaranteed to play so why would he want to go.

    3) If we ain't gonna break the bank to buy 2 great strikers why would we sell him?

    4) the only players that'll go are the ones that we no longer want.

    5) QPR could be virtually relegated by then .... in which case they will struggle to get anyone to join them

    6) the press are full of ****e
