C crows are an excellent band. saw them when Toploader supported must be 10 years ago now, August is a quality album. Anyways, one of my fav songs has to be London Calling by the Clash, anything from the Specials, Madness and as for something modern, Gold Dust by DJ fresh (which I will be playing tonight)
Lucky by Radiohead. A lot of cracking songs above this post. Pink Floyd, Stone Roses and Smiths fans get an appreciative nod. Love anything by Beck or Pixies too (hope Beck's Loser isn't what I associate this season with).

My personal favourite for sentimental reasons is Fleetwood Mac's 'Need your love so bad'. For our beloved R's I think AC/DC's 'Highway to Hell' would be appropriate...
