Happy days.

I remember being outside a TV shop in Prospect Centre and seeing the videprinter go Orient 4...

Then flicker a bit whilst I thought 'for ****s sake City'

Then print Hull City 5.

Pandemonium. Much cheering and hugging.

Away to Cheese to celebrate.

Think I was in town to buy our lass an engagement ring.

That got put on hold for a while.

I've been on worse away day trips. A friend of mine got ejected when we we were 4-1 down, oh how we took the piss when we got back on the coach . :emoticon-0100-smile

And there’s lasses her age picking up guns and Molotov cocktails to fight the Russians ffs. She’d probably go in a bar and order one because she’d read it somewhere!!!

She needs to sort them railings out kinell

I immediately thought of this Spike Milligan poem; one from his anthology that I used to read to my daughter at bedtime.

English Teeth, English Teeth!
Shining in the sun
A part of British heritage
Aye, each and every one.

English Teeth, Happy Teeth!
Always having fun
Clamping down on bits of fish
And sausages half done.

English Teeth! HEROES' Teeth!
Hear them click! and clack!
Let's sing a song of praise to them -
Three Cheers for the Brown, Grey and Black.
