Quite interesting Ernie, I was hoping for more footage of the past, seeing some faces I probably recognise, but a good watch all the same.

He's a bit short on resources in all his videos; being an enthusiastic amateur on his own - he just tends to walk and talk.

He's done some interesting stuff on the history of Hull though. Especially around the railways which is his real passion.

Anyone who can make a series called Snickets of Cottingham is a force to be reckoned with anarl!

Think it was you who put me onto him Ernie, love his videos and his dry humour.

I can't fully remember how I ended up with these, so I have no idea of the dates or back story, but I kept them because I didn't like to see them just thrown away.

I apologise if the quality's not up to much, as they're just photograph's of the old photo's I have. I've two or three more I can post if these work.

Recognise anyone, or the place? They could be Police crime scene shots of someone inspired by John Haigh. <laugh>

I just noticed the one with the two trailers on has a date on the back of the 17th of June 1953. I'm assuming they were all taken at the same time.

The ones with the kits doubled up is how I used to load my wagon. Went on the public road and got pulled by a police car, thought I was in for it. Luckily he just wanted to buy some fish <laugh>. Put one in a bag for him and drove off.

They was taken exactly a year before I was born.

Can you smell it?
