I didn't mean it didn't happen, I just meant skinning live animals wasn't part of any festival, it was just a shocking by-product of having a festival where dogs are eaten.
I'm not against this sort of stuff being discussed on here, but why did we have to derail the one fun, entertaining, no-****ery thread. Couldn't it have it's own thread so people could avoid if they chose?

Not all animals are equal, Take Geronimo the alpaca tested positive for TB 4 years ago and still not culled due to public outrage. On average 500 cattle a week are put down due to TB in England. Badgers also carry and can pass on TB but they are a protected species.
