Does this forum count as social media? Thinking of doing that give it up for September . Will be hard staying off Facebook and looking at the birds I went to school with 2005 holiday albums , but I reckon I can for a month . Don't have to stay off here tho do I? Don't have any real mates to talk too
Some fans will have a wry chuckle when the read this. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/new...817#ICID=Android_HullDailyMailNewApp_AppShare
Think you may have posted the wrong link ,this goes to a story of a pensioner accused of child sex offences .Not anything remotely chuckable there.
You chuckling at that article, no matter who the individual is, says a lot about the type of person you are.
Afraid you've scored an own goal here Castro. Nobody likes the story and no-one seems to know who the alleged perpetrator is.
For the record. A man called Bryan Calam used to be the matchday commander for Hull City games, and later went on to work for the club under David Lloyd. I have no idea whether this is the same Bryan Calam as featured in this very sad story.
Were you one of those celebrating when an old woman died and contributingb to the Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead? That said a lot about the type of person some were. Never read any of the links to articles about Savile, Leon Britton, Sir Cliff etc? Maybe the copper who considered football fans in general hooligans and City in particular as such and ****ed up policing at City whilst doing so such be immune from comment and criticism at the different standards of public and personal behaviour he had?
It is. Bryan Calamity as he was generally known. What is sad about it? Were Savile, Rolf Harrisand Stuart Hall sad stories?
Yes, 71 is old. Though it won't be long before you are there as well. Time slips away faster as years advance.
Mystery stink is so bad in west Hull area residents have to take drastic action Residents in west Hull say they have been forced to keep their doors and windows shut this summer because of a foul smell. Reports of a “strong slurry smell” have been made from disgruntled people living in the Kirk Ella and Anlaby area. The smell is so strong in the mornings, it forces residents to keep their windows shut. Hull Live took a trip out to investigate on Saturday morning, and found the smell particularly strong in the School Lane, Mill Lane and Church Lane areas of Kirk Ella. Harold Flasher, who lives in Kirk Ella, said: “It is a strong slurry smell, and it tends to be worse in the mornings. “I tend to be out of the house, but my wife always says it gets bad later on in the afternoon most days. please log in to view this image Church Lane in Kirk Ella “This has been happening every day for weeks now, and although it is a bit better now the weather is cooling down, when it was hot you really wanted to open your windows.” No cause of the smell has yet been identified. Mr Flasher said he had reported the smell to Environmental Health, and was told they would investigate. He said other residents had also complained about the smell, but was not aware any other reports had been made to Environmental Health. Yorkshire Water statement as Hull residents complain of smelly tap water “I have been living in Kirk Ella for about five years now, and in the past you will get a smell every now and then, but recently it has been every day. “I just want to know what is causing it, and whether anything can be done. please log in to view this image The smell was also strong at School Lane in Kirk Ella “It has been particularly bad this morning, which is what prompted me to contact the paper.” Another lady, who did not want to be named, was also fed up of the smell. 'Our corridor is that smelly it's making us sick - but the council won't clean it' She said: “I live just off School Lane and in the last couple of weeks it’s been really bad. “People have been talking about it, but no one seems to know where it is coming from. “I hope something gets sorted out soon, because every time you come out of your house you can just smell it straight away.” The smell appeared strongest in Kirk Ella, but Mr Flasher said he had also experienced it in neighbouring Anlaby in recent weeks. If you have been affected by the smell, please get in touch with us or comment on the story below. Maybe a family's constant bullshit is finally leaking out on their neighbours environment??
Mr. Flasher must be suffering from "moby dick", a particularly acrid form of V.D. prevalent in more affluent neighbourhoods. It can lay dormant for years.
