Agreed Spes, but I also marvelled at the set up, I'm assuming the audiance guitars were plugged in somewhere, I can only see sockets on the outer fringes, so were the others playing but not plugged into anything?

I heard on the radio that it was certified a world record by the people from Guinness Book of Records, since they generally adjudicate these things I'm guessing they were all plugged in to qualify for the record? Towards the end (@ 3:50) you can see a floor socket in the crowd, I'm guessing there were others too.

I wish to congratulate the police officer for his outstanding demonstration of restraint considering the potential terror threat that he had to encounter. Not giving the standard two shot warning ( first bullet in the head, the second over the dead body) but instead using a measured and appropriate disarmament procedure, clearly shows that the police force in USA really have a deep down well of kindness in their hearts. God Bless America.

Look on the bright side - the gun crazy ****s could have shot her.

I'm glad I didn't see that Chazz. If there is one human being I would loved to have a few beers with, it would be Billy Connolly. Very sad indeed.

I would have liked a few beers with Einstein. Always pleasant to spend time with equals.

In the real world would love to have a beer with Steve Cropper who played on and/or wrote the vast majority of the records I liked most in the 1960s. He is always interesting to listen to when interviewed about those days at Stax and with Booker T and the MGs.
