As the article rightly says, Amazon has launched a new firestick that runs on Vega where sideloading apps is not (currently) possible. However, it is also continuing to sell the existing Fire OS firesticks and has even commented that they intend to continue selling and developing these Fire OS sticks.
There's so much effort these days pushing out what are clearly scare stories to frighten people off illegal streaming on firesticks (and other platforms). There was a double pager in the Mail the other day, that ended with an utterly pathetic made up story about 'Joe, from South Glasgow' (!!) who saw some police arriving so he panicked and flushed his firestick down his toilet, only for the police to go knock on someone else's door about something else. This story really made me stop and think :emoticon-0112-wonde p.s. no, I don't take the Mail, someone cut it out for me to take a look at ... it had obviously panicked them!! :emoticon-0136-giggl
IF Fire OS firesticks are removed and somehow blocked then the illegal streaming will just move to something else (there are of course other options already). I was googling the estimated number of people using firesticks and other devices for illegal streaming - the numbers are off the scale.

The guy who runs my errrmmmm friends stick, says there’s are tons of other ways round it , different sticks and boxes, he already has several contingency plans ready to fire out to people if the worst happens, Some people call these criminals, I call them heroes

All these articles always talk about people who sell these "cracked" sticks like they're some kind of hacking wizard, but it take seconds in the settings page to sort it Allow third party apps, then download a media player app like Tivimate. Then the only thing you need is someone to provide you with access to their server, which is the actual shady part.

Because it's not normal to accuse someone when there is no evidence, no victim accusation and the words 'allegedly' and 'unnamed source' are used together in an article in the mirror. And even if it is true, the supposed victim should have a right to anonymity before the rag publishes her name.
With your prince, there was a victim statement, a picture, flight records, witnesses, a history of behaviour and a tv interview where he repeatedly lied. Really not sure why you'd defend him, if you really are a royalist, how he has behaved over the decades should appall you.
