A favourite saying of my mums isn't on there i.e. ''they won't get there any quicker'' as someone flies past you in the car going twice as fast, the reply ''if they're going twice as fast as we are they'll actually get there in half the time'' wasn't the right thing to say and got me a clip around the lug! Had the same attack to the lughole when ''you can't strike a match on a bar of soap'' was offered as ''there's no such thing as can't''. I should have learnt after the first one.
