The threw their own phones in the water so their history couldn't be examined, and then tried to claim they were forced to by the Israelis. despite their own footage showing the Israelis were not on board. Not exactly eco friendly that either. The Israelis reported the safe collection of the 'selfie yacht'.
Love him or loath him, and you can agree or disagree with the policy, but he was voted in on a platform to deport illegals, and won by a landslide, so it is clearly what the people there want. The Government in LA have openly refused to co-operate, and are actively supporting the rioters. The LA Government has history of promoting these sorts of civil disorder. Trump has no choice but to move additional resources in to restore order and protect people and property.
I was reading an article this morning and it pointed out what Trump's doing is summat that's never been done before. Him and his croney's have found a loophole in the law that rules putting 'em on the streets.
I have no idea what you are referring to, but he is carrying out a policy he was elected on by a landslide. It's bizarre that people seemingly proud to be Mexican are upset at being given a free ride to the land that they love.
Think it was about putting the actual Military on the streets. But as you say, they voted him in again so they can't complain.
It's too close to the no politics rule, but people may want to check out the LAPD's latest press call to see who they feel is behind the unrest, and they don't think it is locals.
It's obviously only a trip to try and raise awareness as to what's going on. Israel blockade the water in case Hamas "tries to bring weapons in", so why not check the boat is clear then allow them in? Probably the same reason they won't allow foreign journalists in. They want the only outputs from Gaza to be from people already there, so they can say it's Hamas propaganda and therefore being spun to make Israel look bad. I daresay bombing an entire city to dust ain't great for the environment either.
I don't think the American public are complaining, or if they are, it seems to be they want an even firmer response. I try to keep out of these discussions on here, as it runs against the general board ethos, but I let myself get sucked in to offer an alternative to some of the previous comments on the Australian reporter. I'll leave it now.
You think Greta the doom goblin would be safe in Gaza? They'd then be demanding people put themselves at great risk to rescue her. Oh, and the UN footage clearly shows that there is plenty of food, but Hamas are blocking the distribution.

Fair enough, but I'm not looking to be obtuse and argumentative, I've just not seen anything suggesting your comment is correct. If you did have something, i'd be perfectly open to changing my view.
