    Funny old world.

It's my least favourite Smiths album by some considerable distance.

They’re all grade A in my opinion.

My probable fave isn’t even a proper album: Hatful.

That collection just illustrates what they had, at such a tender age.

Strangeways is definitely the best Smiths album from a technical and lyrical standpoint, but I do prefer Hatful of Hollow and The Queen is Dead.

And it's mine, Morrisey's and Marr's by some distance.

Yer I know. About it being M & M's, not yours obvs.

    I'm not saying I don't like it.

    I do.

I bought it on its day of release and still listen to it regularly.

I just prefer Smiths, Queen, Meat, that's all.

I like the Peel sessions, outtakes and singles packages too. Louder is better than Hat imo.

Strangeways is better than Rank though.

Rank is rank: hence the name.

Pathetic. It must be the weather, half hearted disagreements. No I respect your point of view, this albums not as good, after you Cecil no after you Claude.
    Disgraceful

I found £11.70 on the pavement on the way to shops today and thought some other bloke was going to pick it up, but he seemed more interested in playing his guitar

If any of you have a bit of old blue pottery gathering dust and it has this mark on it, I am willing to buy it from you for say, oh, a tenner. You got to think about decluttering and embracing minimalism. Some folks like a nice bit of Wedgewood, but my own preference is for shoddy old Chinese stuff with this particular mark - a bit of a hobby you might say:

How can two women play Monopoly at the same time when there is only one iron?

I've got loads of that in me garden.

Coincidentally I could do with it being dug over so I can returf it.

BBC4 - on now. Best & most influential Rock musician that ever lived. Rave On.
IMO, naturally. Defy anyone to say otherwise.
